Music video for the song "A Terra" (The Earth) by CORTE (@corte.a.banda), a rock band from São Paulo. The music was inspired by a poem of Eunice Arruda, an important Brazilian haiku poet (@eunice_arruda_obra). Marina: "I created this video with materials filmed by me in Brazil, Spain and the USA, and images from public archives, focusing my research in the Earth's spells, bio science and deep sea creatures. The animals in their organic, curved and moldable forms make the counterpoint with the humans in straight lines and strange ways of inhabiting the world, all together in a trance edition. The time that remains between kingdoms and powers, and the warmth or anger of the earth that trembles."
