Marina works as a director and researcher for multimedia platforms and experiments with portraits, archives, and soundscapes. Her films have been presented in festivals in France, USA, Portugal, Spain, and elsewhere, including the Margaret Mead Film Festival (NY), Festival Biarritz Latin America (FR), BAFICI (AR) and MiradasDoc (ESP). She is the co-founder of Estúdio CRUA, an award-winning production company that connects new media and social impact. Marina holds a master degree in Creative Documentary (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) and studied photojournalism and storytelling at the ICP (NY). Member of the Film Fatales  (http://www.filmfatales.org/) and teacher at StrudelMediaLive (https://strudelmedialive.com/). Member of the São Paulo Association of Filmmakers (Associação Paulista de Cineastas, APACI). In 2022, her last film "What I've never lost", received two nominations for the Brazilian Society of Cinematographers Award (ABC). SINCE 2023, MARINA coordinates Arché, a creative development space for film professionals from Iberoamerica countries, in Doclisboa and Porto/Post/Doc Festivals, organized by APORDOC - The Portuguese Documentary Association. She's currently working on her project "Red Skies," a video installation supported by DG Arts (Portuguese Directorate-General for the Arts), to be presented in the Azores Islands.

- "RED SKIES" (in development) Participated in Archè Lab (Portugal) and DokLab Navarra (Spain). Pitched at Porto/Post/Doc and Ji.hlava Documentary Film Festival (Documentary Association of Europe Award, 2022). Co-production between Portugal and Brazil.

- "What I've Never Lost" (86' | 2021), presented in festivals such as 22º BAFICI - Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema, 61º Krakow Film Festival, 13º IN-EDIT Brasil (Jury Prize for Best Documentary - Junho, 2021), 16ª CINEOP - Mostra de Cinema de Ouro Preto and SANFIC - Festival Internacional de Cinema de Santiago (August 2021).
- “The Dual Nature of Light” is a transmedia project in development that won the Biarritz Amerique Latine Film Festival pitching to participate in the Lizières Residency (France, 2019).
- “The Sound of Bells” (70’ | 2017), presented in festivals like 27° Festival Biarritz Latin America (France, 2017), 42º Margaret Mead Film Festival (USA, 2018), 17° Boston Latino International Film Festival (USA, 2018), 48° Visions du Réel (Media Library | Switzerland, 2017​).
